I was a Sophomore in College at the University of North Carolina Charlotte when I realized I wanted to work in Public Relations and Marketing.
The more I began to learn about the Public Relations and Marketing field the more I started to learn where my responsibility as a PR/Marketing professional would lie in terms of the company I would (hopefully) work for.
Before I begin let me just say that I fully believe that there is no one more addicted to Instagram than yours truly. There is nothing like snapping a pic of a perfect moment, tossing the most complimentary filter on it, and sharing it with the world. However, as a marketing professional, I have quickly come to learn that sometimes an incredibly diverse Instagram account only looks sloppy!
As you get older, your stories change and the advice you need gets a bit deeper. Sometimes I disagree with your decisions, and sometimes you don’t make sense to me. I need you to know that I am never mad at you. After some conversations, you will ask me if I am mad at you. More times than not my answer is always no, but I can tell you think I am in fact upset. So today, I am going to tell you what is going through my head in those moments.
