Building The Sellers’ Home: June Update

Hello Friends! Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July, I know I did. However, am I the only one that thinks it should be against the law to have work the day after? I swear, the Wednesday after the 4th felt more like a Monday than an actual Monday does.

Anyway! There has been a LOT going on with our house these last few weeks. Yes, I know we are in July but so much happened June I feel I need to talk about it.

In fact, we cannot believe how quickly things are progressing. Here’s a quick recap of what’s been going on, and where we will be by the next update!

So, we finally met with our builder and he is awesome! He told us that the earliest we will be moving in is September 17th and the latest, October 4th which is so exciting. Our builder is a super nice guy and he is great about keeping us in the loop on what is going on with our home. We met with him June 19th, the day before our frame went up and holy cow did it go up!

Our dear friends wanted to see our new pad this weekend so we drove them out to our lot. They surprised us with our first bottle of champagne (yes, I am the type that will keep that bottle forever) and it felt so good to pop it alongside my sweet husband and our best friends. Words cannot express how excited we are. We worked so hard, sacrificed so much, and dreamt so long about this home and it’s finally coming together. Until the next update folks!
